Who must file?
Generally, income, filing status, & age determine who must file a tax return. For example, for tax year 2025, if you are single & under 65, you must file if your gross income was at least $15,750; married both under 65, $31,500. If you are over 65 and single, you must file if your gross income is at least $17,750; married both over 65, $34,700. We accept cash, check, credit or debit card, or you can have the fees withheld from your refund (additional fees apply).
