The Iola Tax Place is lead by Mary Olson, who is an Enrolled Agent (EA). The Enrolled Agent (EA) status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS for tax return preparers. Individuals who obtain this elite status must pass a comprehensive test on individual, business, estate and gift tax law, adhere to strict ethical standards, and complete a minimum of 72 hours of tax law & ethics continuing education every 3 years.
